Vacation to Phoenix, AZ for 25th anniversary

We went to see Bonnie and Don, and Mel and Lucinda in Az. for one week. We got to see so much of God's country, including the Grand Canyon and Petrified Forest. It was one week that included over 1500 miles in our minivan that we had rented. We stayed in Flagstaff, AZ at a timeshare that Maureen had given us for our wedding anniversary. It's amazing how much we saw this week. Had never been to that part of the country.

It was great being able to see all the St. Laurent's and Mel and Lucinda. A real treat.

We definitely have to go back for Part 2 as Bonnie said.

We made up CD disk of over 350 pictures to show everyone. Or should I say Barry did. He even downloaded music to play along with the slide show.

Meeting with Dr. Henwood/surgeon

I met with Dr. Henwood to discuss the results of the ultrasounds on my right breast. He could only read the results and did say that surgery is an option. We decided to have it taken out.
Since we were going on vacation the end of this month, we would postpone the surgery until we got back from Phoenix. He didn't want anything to happen to the incision if we were out of state.


Surgery was scheduled for March 9, one day after our 25th anniversary. What an anniversary present. Will never forget that one!

I will go for blood work and pre-op testing the end of the month.
