My family will update blog tomorrow for everyone

I will be asking one of my family members to place an update on my blog tomorrow after I hear the results of Barry's surgery. Thanks again for all your good wishes and prayers. It will be either a comment or a posting.

at 2 45 pm Jane called me, in tears, that Barry had just got out of the operating room, and had been moved to Recovery, for at least 2 hours. On quick examination of the tisues removed, it appears that the damn "C" is mentioned again. Again, she has the fear, hoping that now that an incision has been made, the cancer will not spread further. What an awful report to receive, after going thru all the radiation and kemo for the past 19 months. She will be staying in a hotel about 10 blocks from the hospital tonite

Tuesday morning 9 30
Jane got to the hospital at 9 and on the way to Barrys Room, met with one of the Drs. Went to room together, Barry had been taken off oxygen and tube taken out, he is now on just meds, with a figer clip monitering system. Jane questioned opening up and possible reprecussions, Dr said that was an old wives tale. Plan of attack now ? continue with treatments as in the past, but monitor chest. Might go home ? tomorrow. Jane will return home this pm to be able to talk with Tim and see how things are going there.
Still a mystery to ME why the Dr waited 19 months to do the current procedure.
