when i called her this afternoon she told me she had used the walker and had walked from her bed out to the hallway!! DO U BELIEVE-WHAT A DIFFERENCE A WEEK MAKES!!
also mentioned she would be probably going to the other rehab place maybe saturday as she can now tolerate 3 hours of therapy-forget the name-green something. her speech is getting better too. well we are off tomorrow pm for sunny florida and to relax with the grandchildren. adios moe

FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND ANOTHER

11 ish this morning, while rubbiing Janes Leg, took a breather, and out of the blue, she RAISED THE LEG INTO THE AIR.
Shortly after, rubbing her foot, asked if she might just move her toes AND YAH, SHE DID.
Yesterday the arm (and u should see her moving her hand today) and now, today, the foot.
This afternoon she was moved to Greenville and is comfortably settled in with the new brace attached for the first time. This hospital is slow, with only two of them in the area.
Again, thanks to all, for the many many flowers and foods delivered. She is certainly progressing these past few days.
