WHAT A NICE SURPRISE!!

i called jane at suppertime and she answered her cell phone. told me she had an awful night because she got the wrong amount of steroid-too much dosage and she had to be held captive in a wheelchair-actually they had to call someone in to sit with her. her speech tires after a while and she has a hard time explaining stuff. she also mentioned she was measured for leg brace today. still no movement right. told me tonight would be better.hey lisa, did i leave my sunglass eye clip in your car?
off to relax. adios tim at concert tonight and the old folks and eileen there

Tonight was Tim's band concert and Becky was so sweet. She took Doug, Kay and Eileen to see him. What a night. While they were away from the hospital a few friends went to be with Jane.
When I was with her today she was talking up a storm. A few things she couldn't get out, but I told her they were "on the tip of her tongue". That made her laugh.
Sister Ann was there from the church and brought her flowers and a few inspirational cards. We sang songs together like "He has the whole world in His hands" and since Jane couldn't clap herself, I used one hand and she used the other. What fun!!!
Jane also always says "yes", never "yeah". We were talking about that and the next time I asked her a question, she said "yeah"!! That was a new one!
Everyone should go and see her! She would love the company!!

By the way, Mo, I have been trying to figure out whose clip sunglasses those were! Mystery solved!!

What a great concert tonight. Jane's family got to meet so many people who love and care for Jane here in "god's country!" the Band director dedicated a song to Jane and our whole row started with the tears. I could hear eileen sobbing in my ear and of course it doesn't take much to make me cry. What a great tribute to Jane. I have never heard of him doing that before. That man was a hero to me tonight for doing that. Joann was taping it so hopefully jane will be able to hear it in the morning. It was so nice to be able to take the family out to do something special for the timster. Everyone seemed to have a good time. Jane was more than covered for the evening. I had mentioned about the band concert to Kelly and Marian and they agreed to be her company for the evening. Marian had her covered for her bedtime with her meds and bed alarm. Tina and Michelle also stopped by so while we were all at band a rama Jane was having a girl night!!! She is just so loved. I hated to miss the evening with her but loved it with her family. Jane's family is just been such an inspirational to all of us. They have embraced us all with their love and have let us cry on their shoulders when we needed to also. It only proves times of trial have a way of bringing people closer and I have definitely seen the best if everyone!! Keep on visiting Jane, she loves the support. love ya Jane.
