No umph today

The title says it all. Just no umph today as a result of the chemo yesterday I assume. Slight headache also. Slept most of the day, just no energy.

I was reading the back of senior's picture. She spoke of Tim's strength, that made me cry. He noticed I was crying, and he said "what's up?" I explained that I was SO proud of his strength, and no teenager should have to go through what he is going through. His remark, "Mom, you're doing a great job!" I told him we are strong because and for him.

Cancer sucks.

I had a feeling you were kind of tired after your treatment. When I didn't hear anything from you on the blog i figured you were getting much needed rest. I haven't called Jean yet because I was waiting until you were up for it. When we do it lets do it when you are well rested. Boo has a horse show at the end of the week, so we will have to catch up on a good day. Until then rest up and I won't call and disturb a possible nap!! I saw Tim in school today with his arms around not one but TWO good looking girls!!Way to go Timster!!! Rest well Jane. love ya

Hang in there, Jane. Those days after chemo . . . yuck! You are so right to be proud of Tim, but it is so evident how proud he is of you too! Rest well! Love, Ann

Your post touched me tonight. I agree, no child should have to face what Tim has been thru.....yet i feel he is destined for big and wonderful things in his life. He has learned compassion and patience and many other fine attributes during this journey. He is a fine young man....and is beyond his young years. You've both done a great job with Tim. Since the class of 08 has officially graduated, our children are now THE SENIORS at WAHS. WOW!! Hard to believe. Much love...linda in nw

Jane, Thank you so much for this blog and sharing your tears with us.

I came here to share with you a new site that helps fund mammograms for women who can't afford them.

Here is the link:

Would you consider posting a link for your readers?

If you like, I can also send you a "button" for the link.

Thanks and God Bless, Lindsey
