Another weekend.

The weekend went by too fast. But everything seems to be that way. Hard to believe that Tim just has 3 1/2 days left of school. Even he thinks the year went by fast. He's in the middle of taking finals, and so far is going quite well.

Yesterday he helped Barry work on his truck for hours. The work involved Barry being under the truck, and Tim was able to be a fetcher of tools and to lend a hand for tight fitting areas.

Today I felt old. You know your child is getting old also when he is driven to events (today a soccer game) by upper classmates. I think this was the first game I didn't go see him play. But it's a good thing and we're all getting older. We are just lucky to have such good friends.

While he was at the game (which they lost), I did some vacuuming and then decided to go to the college track to walk some laps. I walked 5 laps which Tim has told me equals 1.25 miles. Better than nothing. We've had so many rainy days this week that it felt good to be outside doing something. Never was able to cut the lawn. And I then came back home and took a nap. When I woke up the sun was out and is still out a few hours later. A shock to see!

The more you walk the less naps you take.
The more you walk, the less pounds you carry around.
The more you walk, the more you can indulge in food and not care.
The more you walk, the more energy you will have.
No more excuses!I read too many excuses through the whole blog era. There are umbrellas for the rain..get out there and walk in the beautiful Amish country and enjoy the scenery and the wonderful simple things in life. Just Don't step on that big bug trying to cross the road. He wants to be a survivor too like the rest of us.
God Bless You All......
