Not a Happy Mother's Day

This is Eileen again for my sister Jane. I just got off the phone with her and she is in la la land with the meds. Ha Ha Ha They are getting her pain somewhat under control. She will be having a bone scan and MRI tomorrow. She asked me to tell everyone she doesn't have her phone with her so she has no phone numbers. I will let you all know how she is doing after the tests tomorrow. Please continue to pray for all of them. Thanks for being there for them as we are all so far away.

Hi Eileen: I wanted you to know I called Jane today. It was so good to hear her voice. She was her usual upbeat self .... a true pillar of strength.

We are praying for her and Barry and Tim. I look forward to talking to her again after her tests tomorrow. I feel so helpless as her friend ... and when I feel that way I never know what to do, so I pray. I pray that God will give her the strength to face this again, and that He will heal her body, as through Him all things are possible.

I have another friend who had a recurrence last year, which was very similar in nature. I am going to try to hook them up, so that they can support one another. It is through friends and others who we love that we can face this horrid disease.

TO ALL JANE'S FAMILY
This is Becky. I have been to seen Jane tonight. A group of five of us girls circled around Our Girl to give her support, because we all just love her. Physically she looked tired but her spirits were upbeat as they usually are. She was a little 'loopy' earlier on the phone from her meds, but not the case tonight. She said her pain was not at a 3 versus a 10. We all commented her cute she looked even though she got no sleep. She was concerned about her new job. I called her boss who I know. True to what I know of her character her boss was only concerned about Jane. She was calling her tonight to let her know that the office is behind her and will be sending her prayers. Knowing what a hard worker jane is I thought that might ease her mind. Of course we all have tim on our mind. tomorrow night, we will call tim and if he feels like it is welcome to our house for dinner. I know how close you all are, since I have had the honor of meeting her mom and dad. Even though we don't compare to having her family with her, just be assured Jane will not be alone. I consider her family to me as many other here do. She won't want for anything, especially for a shoulder to lean on. If the family has something they would like seen done from me please let me know. I will do anything to help you all not worry so much about Jane. My email is syslax@msn.com. When my husband had his recent bout with cancer I heard from Jane's dad and I was so touched, so please let me help you if I can. My family just loves Jane and Barry and Tim. Our prayers and heart and strength go out to you also. Barry can also pass on my phone number if you need anything. Let's all pray for some encouraging words tomorrow. If they give jane a plan, I know she can do it. Love to you all.
