Our hearts are heavy but our faith is strong and we know Jane had the best seat in the house yesterday watching Tim and the whole cast and crew's performance. Jane, your words and advice to all of us will never be far from our hearts. I will never forget you telling a table of us to live each moment and enjoy all the small things. I am sure now your ever shining light is guiding all of us in a beautiful way.

Barry, Tim and family our thoughts and prayers are with you and remember you have the support and love of an entire community that extends further than you can imagine.

Jane, as Mother Theresa said "We shall never know all the good that a simple smile can do"

Thank you for your smiles. Love-MP

Dearest Kaminske and Knotts families:

I truly am at a loss: of a good friend, a fellow breast cancer warrior and of words to express my deepest sympathy and the sadness I feel in knowing Jane is no longer with us.

Jane truly was a remarkable spirit that God blessed my life with the last four years. People come in and out of our lives for reasons that we sometimes will never know. But I know that God planned for Jane and I to meet at that WC Relay. I am a private, reserved person by nature and not one to approach someone out of the blue, but Jane's cheerful voice and the Lord's prompting urged me to approach her that day. I remember her being so PROUD to be a survivor, as she was (and quite deserving I might add!) I praise Him for that nudge to introduce myself, as I would be less of a person today had I never met Jane.

Jane showed the world - through this blog - just what it was like to truly be a "cancer survivor". From the emotions; the ups-and-downs; the photos - the real deal. She showed other cancer survivors how to live - and die - with GRACE. She never lost the joy in life. Nor the strength. Oh how I will miss her.

To Mo and Eileen - how blessed I am to have known you through sweet Jane. You were three remarkable sisters who had a bond that was unbreakable. I pray that God will give you peace in her passing; that He will give you strength that only He can give when you find yourself deep in sorrow.

As a Christian, I rejoice that she is with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She is in paradise. And we will be reunited with her one day.

In Christ's love,

Jody Kind, aka "JK"
