Eileen's visit being delayed due to snow storm

Eileen just called to tell me that she won't be here tomorrow. East coast expecting a Nor'Easter, up to 15 inches of snow. NYC and Boston are being hit. So she'll hopefully just be delayed one day which will be my actual birthday.

Talking about birthdays. I met Lisa H. when I entered the church and gave her my usual hug.
She reads my blog so she knew what happenings were going to please me this week. After the prayers for people who are ill/having surgery/or just lost their job she had the congregation sing "Happy Birthday to Jane Kaminske." I don't know about you but I have never heard that happen before during a service. So many people approached me afterwards to personnally wish me a Happy Birthday. Plus she mentioned it was our anniversary on the 8th. Now this was a special day, one of many. Little things-mean so much bigger when you are dealing with illness or anything difficult.

Well, day after tomorrow will be so special now. Eileen arrives in time for an actual birthday hug. Can't wait.

Jane, how wonderful that you could enjoy church and the warm thoughts of friends and family. We are praying for you and know this will be the best birthday ever. There is nothing like family. You, Barry and Tim are going to have an awesome time! Hopefully we will see you at the concert. MP

Jane & Eileen, I figured that your flight would be canceled due to that storm. We have to remember that God is in control and it all happens for a reason.
